Newquay Airport is approximately 12 miles away.

T'Gallants bed and breakfast is south facing out to sea.
Either side of the village over the coastal path lies Carlyon Bay to the east with its huge sandy beach and to the west the pretty beach of Porthpean.
Visit us here in the heart of Cornwall, an ideal place to base yourself to explore the regions.

There are many attractions nearby which will enthral you from the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan to the quaint havens which dot the coastline.
Charlestown is a working harbour now mostly used for filming period pieces such as the Three Musketeers, Treasure Island, The Eagle has Landed and Apocalyptho to mention just a few.

Charlestown is home to replica sailing ships which can be visited and trips can also be taken during the season.

The area is steeped in history, smuggling was a major income for some of the locals in a bygone age and wreckers lured unwary captains onto the rocks.

Tin Mining played a big part in the local economy as well as fishing, many of the engine houses still dot the landscape.

The Heritage Centre and Shipwreck museum is located in the village a stone's-throw from the guest house.

Nowadays the leisure trade is vital to Cornwall and many businesses have sprung up to cater for the annual influx of visitors, so even if the weather does not entice you to the beach there are always plenty of other attractions to keep the family occupied.

We look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy the great holiday atmosphere of Cornwall.
